What do you need for an Easter basket?
So, you want to buy your Easter basket stuffers at Five Below, but what do you need? It’s nice to include a range of items for a balanced basket. Of course, it all depends on the age of your child and what they’re into.
- Candy: Easter is all about the candy, whether chocolate eggs, Peeps, or other treats. It’s up to you if you want to go hard on candy or keep it to a minimum to avoid an Easter afternoon sugar crash.
- Toys: Small toys are great for Easter baskets. This may include small plush toys or figures, bubble wands, and water pistols, to name just a few of the many options.
- Toiletries: Older kids might like fun toiletries, such as bath bombs or flavored lip balm.
- Practical gifts: There’s also space for some practical gifts, such as reusable water bottles, socks, small notebooks, or phone chargers for older kids.
- Easter basket: Let’s not forget that you’ll also need the basket to put all these goodies in. Once you’ve got it, you can reuse the same one year after year.

Squishmallows Squooshems Easter Blind Bag
If your kid is a Squishmallows fan, they’re sure to love these adorable Easter Squishmallows figures. They aren’t plush, but they’re super squishable, just like the original version. This is a blind bag, meaning you won’t know which figure is inside, but it’ll be one of six Easter specials.
Rainbow Fabric Easter Basket
This Easter basket has a cute rainbow design with big white pompoms reminiscent of a bunny’s tail. It measures 9 inches across, which is large enough to fit a decent amount of goodies without being ridiculously huge.
Kinder Milk Chocolate Figures
You might not be able to buy Kinder Surprise eggs in the U.S., but these adorable Easter-themed figures are the next best thing. They’re made from the same delicious creamy chocolate with a milk chocolate outer layer and a white chocolate inner layer.
Peeps Scented Bath Bomb
Not only does this bath bomb smell like Peeps, it contains a surprise charm that’s revealed when the bomb melts away in the tub. It comes in both strawberry and vanilla scents.
